Fat Loss: Week Six, Day Two
Just another regular day in the eating routine except that I was in the mood for some wine, which I haven't had in ages.
Funny thing today... I had an apple mid-afternoon and afterwards I felt more hungry than before I ate it. Go figure.
That leads me to something I've been doing lately: I'm using late afternoon hunger as a signal to go do my workout. It means my stomach is fairly empty, is a convenient reminder and also delays my eating for about an hour.

Call me a wuss, but being fairly aerobically unfit, I decided to do my first real aerobic-targeted workout using a "girlie" 18 lb kettlebell for part of it. I did redeem myself by working up towards the 54 lb version, though.
As I stated in my previous post I'm going to alternate high rep days with lower rep strength days this week.
4:10PM - Workout duration: 18 minutes
- 50 snatches (18 lb kettlebell)
- 20 one-handed swings (36 lb KB)
- 20 two-handed swings (54 lb KB)
- 30 snatches (18 lb kettlebell)
- 20 one-handed swings (36 lb KB)
- 20 two-handed swings (54 lb KB)
- 20 through-the-leg-passes (36 lb KB)
- 50 one-handed swings (18 lb kettlebell)
I tried to make it to 20 minutes, but I really didn't want to puke, so I decided to stop at 18.
