Fat Loss: Week Three, Day Four

Today I went to see the new Star Wars movie (I recommend it, BTW) and since I had to rush out the door this morning only haven eaten a piece of fruit, I caved and had some popcorn. But at least there I only ordered a medium and only finished about 3/4 of it.

I'm finding that the difference between 2,000 calories a day and 1,800 is quite more than it would seem... it's been much more difficult to hold to the lower number in that I'm having to pay more attention to how much I'm eating and making sure I'm within the daily limit, or making sure that I leave enough calories available for dinner.

Workout was much different today, especially since I didn't get one in yesterday. I decided to forego the micro-workouts I've been doing and go for one 15 minute 90 mph session. I did a series of exercises that were for strength building but with only 5-10 seconds between each one in order to make them aerobic as well. Here's what I did:

4:15PM
30 pushups (feet elevated), 20 crunches, 20 squats (36 lb KB one hand, 54 lb KB in the other), 10 lateral side raises, 10 tricep extensions, 10 curls (18lb KB), 40 around the body swings with 18 lb KB, 40 with 36 lb KB, 20 alternating one-handed swings (36 lb KB).

I'm here to tell you that left me seriously huffing and puffing, but it felt like I did something... a real workout.

As requested, I've added the nutritional details of my food intake to the daily journal. I hope you find it helpful.
