Welcome to "The Last 10 Pounds" Blog
Well I figure it's about time I start a blog for "The Last 10 Pounds". At this point I'm not sure what I'll concentrate on, so it'll be pretty freeform.
This is meant for both those folks who have already purchased my eBook The Last 10 Pounds, as well as for those who I know will be purchasing it soon.
I'll probably post tidbits of tips, news, info and of course my personal rants as they relate to diet and fitness, or actually the lack thereof in the U.S.
I am encouraged and ready to loose a few more than the last 10. (I would like to loose 35) I am working out daily, but not as intense as I should be. I will start reading tonight and keep you updated. I have started my plan by cutting my portions in half and doing at least 20 minutes of exercise per day. I am also on day 3, and already lost 1 1/2 lbs.
Kathy, that's great to hear!
One thing I would advise you however, is to not weigh yourself every day or even every three days. You'll only succeed in driving yourself nuts and getting discouraged.
Weight can vary quite a bit from day to day, which is why I recommend to pick a specific time of day one day a week to weigh yourself and check your body fat (You can lose fat but have your weight stay the same or not vary very much).

Is there an easy method for testing body fat without buying expensive equipment?
